A president of Professional Football League (PFL) Ramin Musayev resolved problem of sponsorship. By convention, UniBank gave his consent to sponsor Azerbaijan Premier League. An official contract between these organizations will be signed next week. It is expected that after the presentation ceremony, holding on 24 September "UniBank" will be added before the name of Premier League. An official contract is not signed but everything is discussed. A president of PFL Ramin Musayev spoke about innovations in Premier League.

- Mr.Musayev, when did you decide to collaborate with UniBank?
- We were discussing this issue about a month. I didn't announce it because the negotiations were conducting during this time. But now this issue has already been resolved.
- When will be an official contract signed and what is validity of a contract?
- Most probably, we will sign a contract next week. The presentation ceremony will be held on 24 September. We will give a detailed account of an agreement then. A contract has one year validity.
- The name of Premier League will be changed or not?
- Premier League name will not be changed. Just "UniBank" will be added before its name.
- How can UniBank help you to hold the championship?
- UniBank will help us in Premier League and in Azerbaijan Substitutes Championship. Our main goal is the development of Azerbaijan football. First of all they will bankroll Premier League and we will advertise them. I believe that our collaboration will increase the development of the country football.
- Is it planning to finance the clubs or supply them with implements?
- The clubs will not be financed. But we will rate the players. We will determined and award the best player of the month. The players' citizenship and club wouldn't be influenced on our decision. The award can stimulate the football players to greater play.
- PFL made some decisions before "UniBank" sponsorship. For example, the broadcasting rights are given to AzTV. Does the collaboration with UniBank make you to change this decision?
- No, it doesn't. We have signed an official contract with AzTV.
- It is an interesting, was there any other organization, wanting to support Azerbaijan football, excepting "UniBank"?
- There were different variants. They didn't make us a real offer. But we spoke with "UniBank" properly. We started talks with "UniBank" employees Mr.Huseynov and Mr.Valiyev. We got an agreement. I hope to God that we will hold the current championship together.
- It's all about the collaboration with "UniBank". Let's to speak about the last two matches of Azerbaijan National Football Team. You watched both matches...
- I want to speak about the match against Germany. I speak like an ordinary Azerbaijanian not like a President of PFL. Our players showed an interesting game at the first half. Elvin Mammadov, Vagif Javadov, Elnur Allahverdiyev, Vugar Nadirov and Rashad Sadigov played against their opponents as an equal. Our goalkeeper Kamran Agayev surprised me. German, sitting beside me applauded Kamran standing, too. Unfortunately, the captain of our team Samir Abbasov got a red card when everything was OK. I think that it was not fair. But don't be sorry. We played against one of the strongest football team of the world - against Germany. Our population is about 8 million, but their population is about 80 million. 6 million of their men played football but just 6 thousand of Azerbaijanians played football. Do you feel the difference? We must do much for rising their level. Of course, we need a time to realize it.
- Do you want to say that the head coach of our team German Berti Vogts must remain in office?
- No, I don't speak about Vogts. I'm not interested in his staying in Azerbaijan and I don't speak about it.
- You spoke about Kamran Agayev's successful playing. Do you know that Bundesliga representative "Koln" was interested in him?
- Yes, I know. In spite of Kamran miss four goals, he was one of the best players of the match. I believe that his playing in National Team can contribute to his career in the future.
- My last question is about Premier League. The matches were resumed after the interval of 21 days and we were surprised with results...
- "Turan" gained a point in the match against "Khazar-Lankaran" in Lankaran. I hungered after "Turan" staying in Premier League. Of course, the matter is not "Turan", the matter is the development of Azerbaijan football. I even don't have information about "Turan" squad at the match against "Khazar-Lankaran". And there is no weak club in the championship.
